Hello, this is Suzuki from the goods creator IIJAN. Thanks to a special opportunity, we at IIJAN have taken on the honor of designing the commemorative merchandise for the release of "Earth Defense Force 5 for Nintendo Switch 2."

As an EDF soldier myself, I've charged through the muddy battlefields and defended Earth from despair. Yet, I know there are true heroes across the world with far longer service records than mine in this over 20 years long iconic series. With great respect for these elite Storm Team warriors, and delighting the hopeful (soon-to-suffer-in-hell) new recruits about to enlist, I carefully considered what kind of items might bring joy to everyone in the EDF community.

"An EDF soldier who doesn't flinch before tens of thousands of giant creatures deserves better than cheap character goods." What we at IIJAN wanted to create was far more than simple character goods. Our vision was to craft “officially issued gear” for you, the EDF soldier who has fought valiantly beyond the screen, to endure and thrive in the battlefield of reality.

That's the resolve this project started from.

With military-spec stitching, dense embroidery, and rugged, tough materials that grow even more character as they're used and worn, we've crafted goods that truly embody the spirit of the EDF. Each unit patch we designed honors the unspoken battles of the warriors in the game. From the smallest stitches to the fine design details, we wanted to etch the lives, pride, and memories of the EDF into every piece we created.

The pride and fever of standing alone against the Primers' invasion and fighting it out to the end. We hope that the voices on the comms and the memories of relentless counterattacks will come vividly back to life within you when you wear this gear.
